Empowering teens to build mental health resilience through self-help resources and tools
Welcome to Youth Voices for Mental Health! This project started as my Eagle Scout Project and now focuses on enhancing mental health awareness among middle school students. Together with a team of volunteers and mental health advocates, we create engaging educational tools like bookmarks, posters, and bracelets to facilitate discussions on mental well-being. We also present at schools and youth organizations to promote mental resilience and provide resources for teens to seek help.
At Youth Voices for Mental Health, we aim to empower students to understand and express their emotions, helping build a supportive community. We conduct presentations at schools, scout troops, and other venues to share our tools and discuss effective self-help and peer support strategies.
